Thank you to everyone who attended our meeting today! We started our conversation on the issue of child sex trafficking. We plan to be educated and active on this serious problem in our community. We are grateful to Lena Wathlam from Awareness is Prevention and Electra Skrzydlewski from Senator Cortez Masto’s office for both speaking to us.

Nevada can help make this happen!

Zoe Nicholson was so inspiring at our Women’s History Month event. We watched a video about Zoe’s activism when she put her life on the line while fasting for 37 days attempting to draw attention to the importance of passing the Equal Rights Amendment. And had a chance to talk about what we can do to help as activists to finally have women in the Constitution. We were excited to have Annette Magnus, Battle Born Progress Executive Director, and Karina Provost from NARAL Pro-Choice Nevada as our speakers for the first meeting of the year.
