About Us

We can do it!  Nevada NOW is a state organization within the larger NOW network. Nevada NOW has two chapters, Southern Nevada NOW and UNLV NOW, and one Campus Action Network (CAN) at Nevada State College. Nevada NOW and all its chapters are run by volunteers. There are approximately 600 NOW members in Nevada, making Nevada NOW the largest women's political action (and feminist) organization in Nevada.

Nevada NOW is an activist rather than a direct services organization. We seek to effect change through lobbying, advocacy, education and protest. We do not serve clients at this time. You can learn more about our work, and the history of the National Organization for Women at our national web site.
